Troy Town offers an exciting and inspiring space for offsite team building workshops and away days in our beautiful Hoxton workshop.
  
Troy Town offers an intimate space for corporate relationship building workshops for up to ten people. We are conveniently located 15 minutes walk from Old Street Station and 5 minutes from Hoxton Overground station. Our corporate workshops focus on kurinuki, a Japanese technique where a drinking-cup form is carved out from a solid block of clay. This process is very meditative, and also offers opportunities for collaboration and discussion within small groups. These sessions are taught by professional ceramics tutors trained in Japanese techniques.

All work from our corporate workshops can be reduction-fired in our large kiln, in a special process by Troy Town staff. Works can then be delivered back to your HQ, usually 4-6 weeks after the workshop (allowing for drying time and the slowness which our special firing process prescribes). In booking a team building workshop with Troy Town you are also supporting an important local not-for-profit.

Sessions are available for a minimum of 8 participants, at £140 per head. Sessions are 2 hours long and are available Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, with evening sessions 7-9pm also available for the same price. There is an additional overhead fee of £150 to cover the professional glazing, firing and the return of workshop pieces, if finished pieces are desired. Christmas party and weekend dates are also available on request, with last minute availability for December 2022.

We have (non-accessible) toilet facilities and a basic kitchen setup (fridge, kettle, microwave) in the studio and can recommend local caterers. You are also welcome to bring your own alcohol. We also have access to an outside garden and picnic bench space during summer months.
